Job Summary

Currently we are seeking to hire a part time Property Manager within our company. This Manager will oversee one property (~40 units) in Alhambra, with growth opportunities to oversee and manage multiple properties surrounding the area.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day operations and upkeep of the property/s
  • Maintain stable occupancy and meet budgeted financial goals
  • Oversee eviction or legal matters
  • Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate all necessary Maintenance in conjunction with assigned maintenance tech and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
  • Ensure vacant units are 100% market ready
  • Posting ads, open houses and developing marketing efforts to ensure apartment vacancies are kept to minimum and leasing goals are met.
  • Strong work ethic that includes being dependable, flexible and team oriented and of course has a go-getter attitude.

In this role, Property Manger will report primarily to the Regional Manager and in some cases directly to the Director of Property Operations. This position works in conjunction and with flexibility with personnel in the corporate office as well as personnel in the field.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be bilingual Chinese and English
  • BA in management or similar major preferred, or have minimum 1 year of Property Management experience
  • Must have experience using Property Management Software (Appfolio Management Software experience is a plus)
  • Must have experience leasing and marketing via online portals (Craigslist etc)
  • MS Office and Excel experience is a must
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Grace Hill or Fair Housing certified is a plus
  • Must have valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum 15-20 hours per week, on a set schedule
  • Student Housing experience is a plus

This position is a part time, hourly position with a Salary range of $12-15/hr depending on experience and qualifications.
